Casa is building AI personal assistants for renters & real estate professionals to automate the bullshit that wastes 6 billion hours a year. Most rentals are gone in less than 46 hours. For renters, our AI rental agent (Casa Plus) takes you from “plain ‘ol English” to realtime-notifications with AI summaries on every rental across the web.

What we're looking for 🔍

We’re growing and expect to be the global AI rental agent. For our existing team this means working on our infrastructure and overall products (including our AI assistant for realtors).

This role is focused on working independently to build out the necessary infrastructure ahead of expansion. It will largely involve working with LLMs and serverless functions as part of our high-throughput pipeline for processing listings across the web.

You will be making sure we can launch an AI rental agent in various geographies without issue whilst providing AI summaries and oversight to renters at low cost, such that we can offer this at a low price.

Key skills:

• Proficient in JavaScript, OOP concepts and preferably TypeScript
• Proficient in version control (git - GitHub)
• Deployed applications to cloud environments (not just tinkering on localhost)
• Understanding of message queues & serverless functions
• Strong writing skills (to different stakeholders)
• Creative and focused individuals who have a history of executing on their unique ideas
• Curiousity for how products grow and ambitious for taking part in growing something meaningful

Nice to have:

• Built with large language models (LLMs) via APIs
• Web browser or web crawling experience
